Cookie Policy
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function properly and provide information to website owners.
2. Which Cookies We Use
This website uses the following categories of cookies:
- Essential cookies are required for basic website functionality (e.g. storing your cookie preferences). These cannot be disabled.
- Functional cookies: the Zoho Desk support widget may set session cookies required for the contact form to function. These are classified as strictly necessary for providing customer support and do not require separate consent.
- Analytics cookies: Microsoft Clarity is used to understand how visitors interact with the website (clicks, scrolls, session recordings, heatmaps). These cookies are only placed after explicit consent.
Cookie-free analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics collects aggregated, anonymous performance metrics (page load times, visitor counts) using a lightweight JavaScript beacon. It does not set cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individual users across sessions. Because it is cookie-free and does not process personal data, it runs without requiring consent, similar to server-side access logs.
Analytics cookies set by Microsoft Clarity may include:
_clck: Clarity user identifier_clsk: Clarity session identifierCLID,ANONCHK,MR,MUID,SM: Microsoft tracking identifiers
3. Consent
Analytics cookies are only placed after explicit consent. On your first visit, a cookie banner is displayed where you can:
- Accept all enables analytics cookies.
- Reject all blocks all non-essential cookies.
- Cookie settings lets you choose per category (essential or analytics).
Your choice is stored in your browser and respected on subsequent visits. Belgian law (implementing the ePrivacy Directive) requires opt-in consent before analytics cookies are set.
4. Managing and withdrawing consent
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the website footer. When analytics consent is withdrawn:
- Microsoft Clarity tracking stops immediately
- Clarity-related cookies and client-side identifiers are removed from your browser
- No further analytics data is collected
Session data already recorded by Microsoft Clarity before consent was withdrawn cannot be deleted on a per-user basis, as Clarity does not provide an API for individual data deletion. You may also manage cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect website functionality.
